Eye makeup look: The one with the dramatic eyes
Hi everyone,
I hope you are all well and enjoying the festive period!
Today I bring you a bold and striking look eye makeup
look. Why not… tis the season right ;)
This bold eye makeup works well for a lovely evening out
or at your Christmas party!
I thoroughly enjoyed putting this look together and was
pleasantly surprised at the lovely compliments received! For this look, I used some of
my favourite products.
To create the dramatic smokey effect, I used the Sleek
Eyeshadow Palette in Matte V2 in shade ‘Flesh’ and ‘Dune’ for the base. Shade ‘Paper
bag’ (such lovely names :P) was used to create the smokey effect and darken the
out corner of the eye. This palette is one of my favourites. It has a lovely
variety of colours and because it is a matte palette it is great to create nice
everyday looks.
I then used another one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes, MUA
Makeup Academy Professional eyeshadow palettes in Undressed which I bought from
Superdrugs.
I used shade 6 (metallic gold shade) for the middles aspect
of the eyes and shade 2 (light sliver pink) for the inner corners.
I love this eyeshadow palette as the colours and effects are
beautiful and the product is inexpensive. Lets be frank, palettes are very
expensive these days, therefore purchasing one for under £5 which actually
looks lovely one is definitely a good option!
As for eyeliner, I used Kat Von D’s liquid liner in shade
Trooper. I love how dark this eyeliner is and the way it glides onto the eyes.
BEA-U-TI-FUL
Et voila! A bold and striking eye makeup look done using a
mixture of mattes and shimmer shades topped off with a nice eyeliner extended
both inwards to create a cat eye effect and outwards to create a winged liner.
Let me know if you give this look a go!
