Golden and Sheen- It's all in the eyes…

I have a tremendous love for makeup!! :)
The following is a ‘golden and sheen’ look I created using numerous products listed and pictured below. This look is fabulous for an evening out worn with matte lipstick to balance out the shimmer from the eye shadows. Alternatively it can also work well with nude lips for a more day time look.

The eye shadows I used were from the Fashion Fair and Sleek makeup palettes. I choose to use Sleek SunSet (568) for its warm tones which can be blended nicely to obtain a smoky effect. I also used The Body Shops gold pearl eye shadow for the corner of the eyes to brighten up les yeux.

Foundation- The Body Shop- Oil free balancing foundation SPF 15 (Shade 06)
Face powder- The Body Shop (Shade 02)
Blush- Mua (Shade 02)
Eyebrows- Filled in using Rimmel professional eyebrow pencil
Eyeshadows-  The Body shop- gold pearls (sparticles)
 Fashion Fair palette
                          Sleek makeup palette (Sunset 568)
Eyeliner- Maybelline liner express (Black)
Mascara- Maybelline The colossal volume express (Glam Black)
Lipstick- KIKO makeup Milano (Shade 95)

The top left image is without make up and the next three images are the completed look.
It is amazing the way in which makeup can change the look/shape of your eyes… giving a dramatic effect :)

  1. I adore the Sunset palette; there are so many perfect shades, especially the deep and light rose golds that can be used with other looks. I recently did a look with the flaming orange :D

  2. Hiya! Yes I totally agree and love the sleek eyeshadow collections. The sunset palette contains such lovely rich colours. I also tried the Ultra matte V2 palette which I think is a nice one. Will definitely check out your blog post with the flaming orange look- sounds great! :)
